The WINHMS mobile application has been developed to work flawlessly on an android tablet. Guests have the ability to access all guest related services provided by the property. Guest authentication is provided for each guest utilising individual guest usernames and passwords. Basic guest services include check-in, registration with electronic signature and self-photo, check-out, future bookings and e-concierge services.
Certain services can be performed at the reservation stage as well as when the guest has checked in. The app also provides the guest the ability to select a preferred room during check-in or post check-in by displaying a floor plan. Location-wise hotel promotions can also be pushed to the guest enabling cross promotional activities.
Support is provided for guest feedback obtained for both front office and point-of-sale systems. The guest can update guest preferences which are maintained globally across various modules in the system. This includes updating personalised information such as likes / dislikes / allergies, profile updates, complaints / requests / suggestions etc. Historical data such as previous stays are also displayed and e-mails are automatically despatched during bill settlement and check-out.
Detailed bills and balances for the current stay are accessible at any time thereby providing the guest a clear indication of expenses to-date. It is also possible for guests to tag a room dirty for cleaning and perform F & B room service orders directly. It is possible to view the menu, recipes, chef’s recommendations for the day, today’s favourite items and place an order. Orders can be placed for both current and future delivery. The system automatically prints the KOT at the kitchen at the requested time.
